    We will discuss how the wider Kafka ecosystem such as Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams, and ksqlDB to easily link new data sources and analytical systems to the integration layer while ensuring that data is transformed into the respective formats in an auditable and scalable way. Moreover, we will highlight how Kafka itself could be used for long-term storage and how materialized views in ksqlDB can be used as a data-serving layer for micro-service based architectures.
